Fellow teachers, colleagues, and defenders of our noble profession,

Today I rise, not just as a supporter of Kirui Patrick, but as a witness to what true servant leadership looks like.

Let’s be honest with ourselves—what kind of leader do we still need, when we already have one who’s walked the talk?

When teachers needed to be heard, Kirui Patrick was the voice.
When information failed to reach us, he built bridges—digital ones.
When confusion clouded our direction, he brought clarity, guidance, and presence.
When others were waiting for titles to serve, he served without a title.

He didn’t just visit staffrooms—he connected with teachers, listened to their pain, and stood by their struggles.
He didn’t just speak of transparency—he demonstrated it.
He didn’t just promise inclusivity—he practiced it.

So I ask you, from your heart and from your experience:

What kind of leader do we still need,
—If not one who has already done the work?
—If not one who understands the system and dares to improve it?
—If not one who serves before being elected, and not just after?

If action speaks louder than words, then Kirui Patrick has already given us the answer.
