Kiruipato–IT: Acceptance Speech (Draft)
For Vice Chair – KUPPET Bomet Branch
Fellow teachers, brothers and sisters in the union,
I stand before you today with deep humility and immense gratitude. Your support, your prayers, and your belief in a better, smarter, and more transparent union have brought us to this defining moment.
From the very beginning, I believed that a connected union is an empowered union. That information shared is power multiplied. That transparency isn’t just a word—it’s a commitment. And together, we are proving that.
Through the website platforms we’ve built—
For news and updates,
For services and welfare,
For professional development,
For open communication,
For examiners and teachers to collaborate,
For teachers to swap stations with ease,
And even for quick access to essential educator links—
We are not just rebranding the union. We are reclaiming it.
For every teacher in every corner of Bomet.
This is not my achievement alone. It is a testimony of what we can accomplish when innovation meets unity. When ideas are backed by action. When service replaces self-interest.
So today, as I accept this responsibility with honor, I make one promise:
To remain a servant of teachers, a champion of digital inclusion, and a voice for every classroom across our great county.
The journey doesn’t end here. It begins—with more openness, better services, and stronger solidarity.
Let us continue building together.
Thank you. Asanteni sana.
