I, Kirui Patrick, present this manifesto as a reflection of my unwavering commitment to serve, empower, and protect every teacher in Bomet County. Our profession demands integrity, progress, and bold leadership. I offer myself to lead with transparency, innovation, and inclusivity.

This is not just a manifesto — it is a promise of action.

1. Digitizing the Union

• Develop and maintain a professional union website with timely updates and services.
• Register and activate a bulk SMS system for instant communication.
• Create professional emails for all 14 elected BECs.
• Launch a Teachers' Resource Hub with free teaching materials and digital tools.

2. Teachers' Welfare First

• Advocate for improved medical cover and support for teachers and their families.
• Strengthen the Bereavement and Benevolent Fund (BBF):

• Support teacher-run welfares and promote financial literacy and emergency savings.

3. Junior Secondary (JS) Autonomy

• Champion JS teacher leadership in co-curricular activities.
• Advocate for separate administrative structures for JS schools.

4. Professional Growth & Career Advancement

• Lobby for fair, timely, and merit-based promotions.
• Analyze promotion data to ensure equity in Bomet.
• Advocate for automatic promotion after every 4 years.
• Secure CBAs with real financial and career benefits.
• Support KNEC examiner training sponsorship annually.

5. Teachers Beyond the Classroom

• Sponsor training for adjudicators, referees, and coaches.
• Fully fund the Bomet Teachers Fun Day.
• Support Bomet teams in national teachers' tournaments.
• Launch a Teachers' County League across all 5 sub-counties.

6. Inclusivity and Equity

• Promote gender-balanced leadership in schools and unions.
• Support teachers with disabilities (PLWDs) through inclusive policies and infrastructure.
• Uplift teachers from marginalized and remote areas.
• Establish mentorship for young and early-career teachers.

7. Transparency and Accountability

• Publish quarterly and annual financial reports on the union website.
• Create independent audit committees.
• Share union decisions transparently with members.
• Provide a simple feedback system for ideas and concerns.

8. Advocacy and Legal Support

• Provide free legal support for TSC issues, disciplinary cases, and conflicts.
• Assist with response letters and appeals.
• Host legal awareness workshops on teachers' rights.
• Establish a legal fee support system for teachers in distress.
